How a dual-purpose location draws business

While fellow high schoolers were complaining about their minimum-wage part time jobs, Mike Gilley had a different plan. Back in the day, he spent his after-school hours tending to his real estate business – buying houses, fixing them up and then re-selling them. While working on his properties, Gilley became intrigued by the laundry attached to the corner store, where he bought his snacks. And with that, another business venture was launched… without parental permission.
