If you own Speed Queen Quantum Touch equipment, don’t be afraid of damaging the screens. We’ve tested the polycarbonate surface with a variety of cleaners, including Windex®, Formula 409®, stainless steel cleaners and many others.
Lysol® or any other alcohol-based disinfectant would be great options as the polycarbonate base material holds up very well against the alcohol. Additionally, alcohol-based disinfectants leave little residue and are not corrosive to adjacent materials nor as irritable to skin contact.
Owners should be advising staff to wipe down the controls after each use to help keep customers and other staff safe.
