Speed Queen distributors and their laundromat investor customers have a rich history of raising the bar in store design and giving their customers a variety of services. That history is continuing with a new laundry in Willard, Mo.
The Washboard Café brings a unique combination a laundromat with a café, featuring homemade donuts and other baked goods, as well as signature coffee drinks. The owners, Josie and Michael Wodtke, teamed up with Springfield, Mo.-based Laundry Solutions Company, and converted a family pharmacy into the new space. The results are nothing short of spectacular, including a healthy dose of Speed Queen technology – Quantum Touch machines and Speed Queen app.
