While there may be a segment of owners who subscribe to that\u00a0theory, the reality is that it\u2019s really not that hands-off.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In a recent column for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/americancoinop.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>American Coin-Op<\/em>\u00a0magazine<\/a>, Aubrey Pollesch, sales development manager at Alliance Laundry Systems,\u00a0tackles the topic of marketing activities that are data driven. In the piece, she writes:\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cWhile most businesses spend 8-12% of their budget on marketing, most Laundromats spend less than 3%. That doesn\u2019t mean that store owners have to spend more, but it does mean they need to spend smarter and learn from the best practices of other retailers.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Pollesch recommends owners leverage their social media accounts to better understand their customers in addition to a variety of other activities driven
